The harvest has started in South Rhone for 10 to 15 days now depending on the area.
After a warm and dry summer, sanitary conditions are very satisfying. The vine benefited from last week rain. The Mistral dried the grapes and leaves. We couldn’t expect better weather condition for the harvest ! Now that we have lower temperatures at night and during the day, maturation has slowed down and grapes will have more time to ripen.
It’s too early to appreciate this vintage aromas but the grape tasting reveal a great sugar concentration and pronounced fruits notes.
Stay tuned !
